Eritrea is a jewel nestled in East Africa, where the Red Sea's embrace graces its shores. Bound by the tapestries of fate, Eritrea shares its borders with Sudan to the west, Ethiopia to the south, and Djibouti to the southeast. Moreover, its maritime essence entwines with the realms of Saudi Arabia and Yemen, painting a portrait of interconnectedness upon the seas.
Within the tapestry of time, the ancient realm of Aksum flourished, embracing the lands we now know as Tigray, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. At its heart lay the city of Aksum, a beacon of social and political vitality, now echoing through the corridors of history. This majestic kingdom graced the earth from 100 AD to 940 AD, a realm of wonders and legends.
